# Tracking

Every sale, traced to its source.

We set up GA4, the Google tags, the Meta pixel and the Conversions API, with consent built in. Then every sale shows where it came from, and you know which euro works.

What your store says to the platforms

€89 · order 1042

Follow one sale through the wires.

Flip the switches the way real visitors do: they refuse cookies, they run ad blockers. Then press Buy and see what each platform receives.

Pixel and Conversions API

Waiting for a sale

Purchase €89, with its source

A cookieless signal, no person

Purchase €89, from the server

Purchase €89, counted once

Everything arrives. GA4 knows the source, Google Ads learns which click sold, and Meta gets the sale twice, from the page and from the server, then counts it once.

The blocker stops the tags in the browser. GA4 and Google Ads miss the sale. The Conversions API still tells Meta from the server, so the sale is not lost there.

The visitor said no, so we respect it. No cookies and no personal data. With Google Consent Mode, Google tags send only cookieless signals that help model the gap.

No consent and a blocker. Nothing personal leaves the store. This is why we count sales in the store as well, and compare.

A simplified model of how we set it up. The exact setup depends on your store, your banner and your market.

Who gets the credit.

A buyer rarely buys on the first touch. The way you count decides which channel looks good, and where next month's money goes.

All the credit goes to the last touch. The email looks like a hero, and the Instagram ad that started it looks useless.

GA4 shares the credit across the touches that helped. Each channel is judged on what it really did.

An illustration. With tracking set up, your own reports show the real paths.

What we set up.

One list, checked by placing a real test order before any ad spends.

Store events from view to purchase

Revenue and order value that match the store

Traffic sources you can read and trust

Conversion actions for sales and leads

Consent Mode connected to your banner

Google Ads linked to GA4

The pixel on every key page

The Conversions API from the server

One event ID, so each sale counts once

Searches and pages you can act on

Test order placed and checked

Tracking before a single euro of ads.

If sales are not counted, nobody can say what works. So this comes first, every time.

We open the store and check every tag that fires today, and what it sends.

Fix and set up

GA4, Google tags, the Meta pixel and the Conversions API, with consent built in.

Place a test order

One real order, followed into GA4, Google Ads and Meta. It must show up in each.

Only now do campaigns start, and they still start paused until you approve them.

A report in plain words, with sales traced to where they came from.

GA4, Meta and Google tags tied to real sales

A cookie banner and consent that the tags respect

A test order checked in every platform

Reports you can trust when you move budget

A monthly report in plain words

Meta pixel and Conversions API

At Pure Audio we look after the store, its product feed and the tracking behind every sale.

Tracking also sits under the ads we run for

What people ask before we open their tags.

Why do GA4, Google Ads and Meta show different numbers?

Each one counts in its own way and sees a different part of the path. We set them up so the gaps are small and known, and we compare with the orders in your store.

What happens when a visitor refuses cookies?

We respect it. The tags wait for consent. Google Consent Mode can send cookieless signals, and nothing personal is sent without a yes.

Do I need the Conversions API if I have the Meta pixel?

Yes, if you run Meta ads. Blockers and browsers stop part of the pixel. The server signal fills that gap, and one event ID keeps each sale counted once.

My tracking already exists. Do you start over?

No. We first read what fires today. We keep what works and fix what does not.

Which platforms do you work with?

WordPress and WooCommerce, Shopify and Webflow, among others. The plan is the same, the setup fits the platform.

Do you start ads before tracking works?

No. Tracking comes first, checked with a test order. Then the ads, and those still start paused.
